I'm trying to remove all permissions from a list item in SharePoint 2010. There was a lot of permissions because of the "Limited access". I couldn't check all items because of the constraint of maximum selected items. This script is 100% compatible with SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2016.
Once I had to add about 3 thousand users to SharePoint group. Usually when I have to add about 100 users, I use Excel function 'CONCATENATE' to add user login and ";" separator to generate a list of users. And then I manually enter them. But 3 thousand users – it's too much for manual.
Not so long ago I had to add 2 hundred users to SharePoint group. First I wanted to add them partially, but I understood that to do it via PowerShell is faster. (read more...)
